Assembly Bill 811 / SCEIP

California passed AB 811 in September 2008 to assist municipalities with retrofitting residential and commercial properties by providing low interest loans for energy efficient installations that are paid for using tax assessments.

Sonoma County Energy Independence Program (SCEIP)

Requires NO credit check and can pass to new owners of property without future credit checks through title transfer at escrow.

Low interest rate loan (7% amortized over 20 years) from the County attached to your property to be paid every six months through / along with your County property tax payment.
